RIFLE FOUNDATION
Skilled Rifle & Skilled Rifle 2.0
SR & SR 2.0 (formerly Practical Rifle) are designed for both new and experienced semi-automatic rifle owners seeking to enhance their proficiency. These courses focus on weapons efficiency while providing a clear understanding of the rifle’s capabilities and limitations.
Ideal for those looking to develop or refine their skill set, these classes introduce a customized zeroing methodology, allowing students to re-zero their rifles if desired. Through structured instruction and drills, participants will assess their current abilities and build upon them.
The course begins with fundamental manipulations and marksmanship before advancing into movement and teamwork dynamics. It is recommended that students complete SR before progressing to SR 2.0.

All techniques are derived from lessons used by the world’s most elite units—there is zero application of range theory. Training is entirely practical and scenario-driven.
CLOSE QUARTERS BATTLE
CQB & CQB Footwork FOT
CQB: CQB is an advanced task course exclusively available to TDA clients who have completed other TDA rifle courses. This course takes training beyond the flat range, focusing on the critical techniques of moving in a room with multiple shooters and engaging in decision-making under pressure—one of the most vital skills in a close quarters environment.
A solid foundation in shooting fundamentals is essential, as this course emphasizes the application of tactics and strategy in confined spaces. Participants will be challenged to refine their techniques and develop the mindset needed for dynamic situations.
CQB Footwork: CQB Footwork is a foundational course focused on the essential movement techniques for close-quarters battle. Students will practice basic procedures, room entries, handling intersections (cross and T-shaped), and navigating hallways, all while functioning as part of a team. This course serves as an excellent preparatory step for students aiming to progress to our live-fire CQB course at TDA.
Force On Target utilizes simunition rounds against static targets, providing realistic engagement experience without the use of role players. This allows students to refine their tactics and accuracy in controlled, yet dynamic, scenarios.
PRECISION RIFLE
Designated Marksman
The DM course is a two-day class focused on developing precision shooting skills, covering zeroing, data gathering, data proving, positional shooting, and engaging targets from 25 to 800 yards.
This course emphasizes the use of a 5.56 semi-automatic rifle, ideally capable of 1.5 MOA or better, paired with a variable power optic. Participants will be required to bring 350 rounds of match-grade ammunition for optimal performance.
Throughout the course, students will engage in shooting from various positions, including barricade and obstacle shooting, while refining their ability to gather and apply ballistics data effectively.
UNARMED & EDGED WEAPONS
Hand to Hand: Edged Weapons & Combative Concepts
Hand to Hand Edged Weapons: This course is designed to develop a pragmatic approach to defending against edged weapon attacks. Participants will move beyond the unrealistic portrayals often seen in martial arts, focusing instead on practical, effective solutions to common attacks. Through real-world scenarios and proven techniques, students will learn how to assess and respond to the threat of an edged weapon, building confidence in their ability to protect themselves in a variety of situations.
Hand to Hand Combative Concepts: This unarmed combatives course focuses on practical, empty-hand techniques for violent conflict resolution or as a bridge to escalate to higher-force options when necessary. The curriculum includes a carefully selected set of logical, gross motor techniques designed for effectiveness under stress and easy integration into the subconscious. While suitable for beginners, the course also offers valuable tools and tactics for experienced martial artists and self-defense practitioners looking to enhance their skill set.
